It starts with a conversation about your project, what it needs to accomplish, and the creative direction to get there. From there, a proposal gets built around the scope of work and budget.
Pre-Production
A good production starts long before cameras roll. Every detail gets planned. Creative breakdowns, crew, gear, locations, logistics, and scheduling all get locked down so the production day runs smooth.
Video Production
On shoot day, the crew executes, maximizing production value. Creative direction, camera, lighting, and sound working together to capture everything needed to build a polished deliverable in post.
Post-Production + Delivery
The edit takes shape, gets reviewed, and refined through feedback. Once picture lock is approved, color grading, sound design, and finishing touches take it the rest of the way to final delivery.

Freelance Video Producer
Hi, I'm Henri Rapp, freelance video producer and creative director based in Cleveland, Ohio. My expertise lives in the nexus of creative direction, strategy, logistics, and technical execution. A video without a clear objective is a waste of investment in production value. When the objective is defined first, every creative and logistical decision that follows gets easier.
More than a decade as a production sound mixer on national commercials, TV, and film means you see what works and what doesn't across enough productions and formats to understand what matters most. It put me on set for hundreds of shoots at every scale before ever producing one of my own.
That's what led to producing a Netflix comedy special end to end. Working directly with the comedian from the first conversation, the job was to take his vision and build a real production around it, all the way through post and final submission to Netflix.
I don't pitch people. I have conversations, ask questions, and offer what I know whether or not it turns into work. The best place to start is always the same: what does this video need to accomplish?
